Code for Compassion

Presented by Electric Sheep

The fastest growing global coding community and hackathon movement for impact on the planet… Find a C4C near you.

Vibe-coders! Hackers! UX Designers! Interested in using your skills to develop solutions to real-world environmental and animal welfare challenges?

Fancy being supported on a sprint with high-quality technical mentorship, access to copious compute credits and developer environments, a team of hundreds of your pro and semi-pro peers, kindred spirits… and a crew for life?

Then Code for Compassion is for you.

Electric Sheep held its first in-person coding event on February 26th 2025 in the heart of San Francisco/Silicon Valley and we haven’t looked back since then - we are now operating all over the world and also in our unique, purpose built campus in India’s tech city, Bangalore.

Together, driven by Electric Sheep’s community of coders, mentors learners and advocates, time and again we’ve come together to:

· Solve real world problems based on technical needs submitted by animal protection orgs.

· Utilise the first-ever suite of AI models specifically trained for impact advocacy: Pre-trained & fine-tuned models, along with dedicated cloud compute for each team.

· Deliver expert mentorship & post-hackathon support: Top-performing projects will receive continued support to take your work forward after the hackathon, including connections with funders.

· Create a direct pipeline from technical innovation to real-world deployment.

· Develop a unique community: ours is a growing movement of like minded people; collaborating, building and making change.

Check back - applications will officially open in the run up to Code for Compassion events.
