From May-August 2025 this learner participated in Electric Sheep’s Futurekind Fellowship, a comprehensive and practice-focused course at the intersection of artificial intelligence and social impact, focussing on animal protection.

They engaged deeply with cutting-edge topics including the practical impact of AI on human and nonhuman lives, precision livestock farming, decoding interspecies communication, and the ethical considerations of frontier AI and AGI.

They developed critical analysis and implementation skills around the risks and benefits of AI applications, design thinking and forecasting.

They acquired hands-on experience during a project sprint, designing a project that addresses a specific challenge in the AI-animal protection space.
