It often starts with a simple question. Could things be different for animals?

For Electric Sheep’s fellows in the Winter 2025/2026 Futurekind Fellowship, that question turned into something more. Over twelve weeks, ideas became tools, research, and experiments grounded in a shared intention to reduce harm and support better outcomes for animals - a total of 72 unique projects.

Some projects focused on building practical tools for advocates. Others explored questions around ethics, governance, and the systems shaping how animals are treated. Many were shaped by real challenges in the space, aiming to make advocacy work more effective and accessible.

Together, these projects offer a glimpse into what this space could become. Not a single solution, but many small, thoughtful attempts to move things in a better direction.

  • ensynAIsthesis (Vicky Protopapadaki)App

An interactive platform that allows users to experience the world through the sensory and emotional lens of animals.

Each project is a starting point.

Taken together, they reflect a growing effort to use these tools with more care and intention, and to shape a future that works better for animals.

Congratulations to all fellows who contributed to this cohort! We’re looking forward to seeing how this work continues to grow beyond the fellowship.
