Demos from Code for Compassion Bengaluru 2026

Here is the list of demos from Code for Compassion that was held in Bengaluru on 16 January 2026

The one-day hackathon took place at The Yard, Carlton Towers, Indiranagar, and brought together 30 coders, designers, and animal advocates from across India. Participants explored applications of artificial intelligence to address animal protection challenges, including food systems, wildlife monitoring, and corporate accountability.

Teams developed a range of early-stage prototypes during the event. These included:

  • Kitchen Flip: an AI toolkit designed to support small cafés in transitioning to plant-based ingredients through recipe reformulation and nutritional analysis.

  • Offramp: an AI platform aimed at supporting plant-based dietary shifts through personalized guidance and culturally relevant food alternatives.
